Here is some info from our client Shelley Stock Hutter’s Tweets/LinkedIn, on coverage they have recently received for their research findings into the dangers of relying on Credit Rating Agencies. Obtaining the correct rating or limit is a ‘lottery’ based on their findings and the additional research carried out by The Sunday Telegraph. To read more, courtesy of the Telegraph, click here »

You may have noticed QR Codes popping up all over the place; on ads, hoardings and literature.
QR Codes (Quick Response barcodes) are graphic devices which look and react like a bar code. They work by scanning the QR icon with a smart phone (after downloading a free scanning app), which in turn opens up a web page relevant to the promotion. Once on a person’s mobile it will be stored and allows the web page to be viewed at any time. If the website has been set up appropriately, it can be shared with that person’s network of friends, either by email or by a Social Media network.
To work effectively, a ‘mobile version’ of a web page/site should be created in order to be able to display all information clearly and appropriate to the device. This could be a scaled down version of the main website or the complete site could be recreated and optimised for mobile viewing – a rapidly expanding method of viewing content is via a smart phone or iPad/tablet.
Integrating QR Codes will result in enhancing the user’s experience by delivering information directly into your potential customer’s hand – as and when they require. Another great way to use them is on your business card – when scanned it automatically downloads a VCF file of your contact details ready to import straight into an address book.
QR codes are an excellent tool to integrate into existing marketing communications. It also enables the tracking and monitoring of usage, which in turn makes measuring effectiveness and ROI easier.
A great way to reach, engage, share and stimulate sales.

Laura Owen, TGV’s Web & Digital Design Manager, and fiance Ian Palmer tied the knot on Saturday 2 July. They met, moved in together and married just down the road from TGV in Blackheath. A Church wedding was followed by Reception at local hotel The Clarendon, where lots of ‘cheesy’ dancing ensued.
After a year of much preparation, the day went effortlessly – which doesn’t appear to be how the groom would have described his chivalrous attempts at whisking his bride over the heath during the photos!

I found myself wondering past this piece the other day – I was struck by it’s incredible visual impact. It certainly reflects the history behind Trafalgar Square, however does it celebrate London’s wider ethnic culture, as the artist Yinka Shonibare’s intends?
