South East London Peckham is fast becoming a popular hangout for London’s trendsetters, thanks to its established art scene and eclectic range of new bars and impossibly trendy gastro-pubs.
Famously the home of the Trotters, Peckham is also home to 35 new apartments as Higgins Homes’ ‘Q’ development moved in.
Continuing on the success of their Keeper's Gate development in Buckhurst Hill, Higgins Homes asked TGV to work on the brand identity and design of all marketing material for their Peckham site.
The development was designed for city professionals, whose penchant for style, high quality and new trends directs them to up-and-coming areas like Peckham. With this in mind, we knew the new development would need an understated name and premium logo to appeal to the young urban audience being targeted. The result was ‘Q’ - a distinctive brand, confident in its simplicity and vastly different from other developments in the area.
Along with the branding, TGV produced supportive material including the brochure, site hoarding, launch graphics and advertising campaign.
The branding reflects the sophisticated nature of the new development, without over-selling or being too boastful. It is simplistic and understated, with a hint of quality and luxury - like the development itself.
While apartments at Q were getting snapped up, Higgins were able to direct buyers down the road to their development in Bermondsey – The Bath House - where TGV’s ‘launch of the rubber duck’ brand identity helped to generate promising off-plan sales.
