The Engineering Design Show (EDS), organised by MA Exhibitions, is the go-to event for design engineers, showcasing innovative products covering a broad range of sectors from aerospace, medical to oil and gas. The show is co-located with the Electronics and Embedded Design Shows.
As an established brand in its fifth year, EDS had reached the stage where it needed to reinforce its leading credentials and make sure it stands out against the many shows in this sector.
The original EDS dentity was tired and dated; it didn't have the sophisticated simplicity of brands that are associated with design innovation.
Our solution introduced a bold colour scheme of process colours, against stylish greyscale close-up photography of products. The identity is boldly contemporary; creating impact through colour and shape while fitting in with a corporate B2B environment. The well-engineered dot matrix style logo suggests movement and energy, emoting progression, design transformation and innovation.
The strapline 'Engineering Your World' reinforces the importance of the show to design engineers, emphasising that engineering is at the heart of their world; and the show central to the engineering world.
